Certificates and Badges

1. How will I know if I passed my certification exam?

After you complete your exam, your result will be shown immediately. You will receive an email to the email address associated with your Qlik Learning account with information about your certificate and badge.

After passing your Qlik certification exam, your certificate will be available in your Qlik Leaning profile and you will receive an invitation email within 24-48 hours from Credly.com to claim your digital badge. Follow the instructions in the invitation email to set up your Credly account and start sharing your badge.

Should you have any issues receiving your badge or require a copy of your certificate, please contact our Customer Support team via our Support Hub at https://community.qlik.com/t5/Support/ct-p/qlikSupport.

Remember to state the name of the exam in the subject line and add as much detail as possible in the body of your email so your query can be directed to the right person.

2. Can I retake a certification exam?

Yes, if you do not pass an exam, you may retake it.

You are permitted 3 attempts per exam. Full payment or a new voucher is required for each exam attempt.

If you do not achieve a passing score on your first attempt, you must allow 48 hours before retaking the exam. If you fail the exam on your second attempt, you must wait 14 calendar days from the previous test date before retaking the exam for the third and final attempt. After the third failed attempt, you will be blocked from registering for the attempted exam or until a new exam is released.

If you fail the second attempt, you may want to consider how you are preparing for the exam. We recommend you revisit the training materials and take the practice test to reevaluate the skills measured by the exam.

All waiting periods are enforced; you will not be allowed to reschedule the exam for a date before the waiting period is satisfied.

3. Do certifications expire?

All certifications are valid for 2 years from the date of passing the exam. Credly issues a badge email notification six months before your certification expires.

To prevent your certification from expiring, you must register to take the current exam prior to the expiration date and achieve a passing score.

4. How often are exams updated?

Exams are usually updated every 3 years, but this may happen sooner if there is a major product update. Certifications are valid for 2 years, so we encourage you to re-certify when an updated version of an exam is published.
