Certificates and Badges
1. How will I know if I passed my certification exam?
After you complete your exam, your result will be shown immediately. You will receive an email to the email address associated with your Qlik Learning account with details of how to find your certificate in your Qlik Learning profile.
You will receive an invitation email from Credly.com to claim your digital badge. Follow the instructions in the invitation email to establish your Credly account and start sharing your badge. Should you have any issues with receiving your badge, please open a customer-support case for assistance via the Qlik Support Hub https://community.qlik.com/t5/Support/ct-p/qlikSupport or use our support chat service.
2. Can I retake a certification exam?
Yes, if you do not pass an exam, you may retake it.
You are allowed 3 attempts per exam. Full payment or a new voucher (if applicable) is required for each exam attempt.
If you do not achieve a passing score on your first attempt, you must allow 48 hours before retaking the exam. If you fail the exam on your second attempt, you must wait 14 calendar days from the previous test date before retaking the exam for the third and final attempt. After the third failed attempt, you will be blocked from registering for the attempted exam or until a new exam is released.
If you fail on the second attempt, you may want to consider how you are preparing for the exam. We recommend you revisit the training materials and take the practice test to reevaluate the skills measured by the exam.
All waiting periods are enforced; you will not be allowed to book the exam for a date before the waiting period is satisfied.
3. Do certifications expire?
All Certifications are valid for 2 years from the date of passing the exam. We encourage you to re-certify to keep your credentials up to date.
Should you wish to re-certify, book your exam via Qlik Learning. You will need to take the full exam to re-certify, we do not offer smaller/lighter exam versions for re-certification purposes.
Credly sends a badge email notification six months prior to your certification expiration date.
4. How often are exams updated?
Exams are usually updated every 3 years, but this may happen sooner or later if there is a major product update. Certifications valid for 2 years, so we encourage you to re-certify when an updated version of an exam is published.
