Advanced Topics in Data and Analytics expands upon the skills acquired in Introduction to Data Analytics. Students will gain knowledge in theories behind analytics methodologies, including; critical and analytical thinking, predictive modeling and theory, Bayesian statistics, and hypothesis testing. Real world use cases will be applied to give students a deeper understanding of these topics.
After completing this course students will be able to:
- Examine methodologies used for critical and analytical thinking in data analytics.
- Apply appropriate advanced analytical approach to real world scenarios.
- Identify applicable uses of key concepts in predictive analytics.
- Distinguish uses for various hypothesis testing methodologies in analytical scenarios.
- Explore methodologies of regression, variance, and cluster theories in analytics.
